Tanjarae Porter is a creative learning strategist, brand systems architect, speaker, and the founder of Cultivated Connections Design & Consulting, a consulting and creative strategy ecosystem dedicated to transforming how educators and education-based leaders build, teach, and lead.

Before she built brands, she built lessons. Before she designed systems, she designed curriculum. With more than 15 years of experience across K–8 education, as a dance educator, reading interventionist, and instructional leader in Memphis and Nashville, Tennessee, Tanjarae brings a rare combination of instructional depth, creative vision, and strategic clarity to every room she enters. She holds a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a Reading Specialist K–12 certification from Carson-Newman University and a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Dance Education from the University of Memphis.

Her work lives at the intersection of two connected missions. As an education consultant, she partners with arts educators, schools, and community-based organizations to design literacy-rich, arts-integrated learning experiences and build the creative instruction systems that make them sustainable for teachers. Her K–5 curriculum framework promotes literacy and academic growth through movement and creativity and has supported programs impacting over 3,500 students with measurable school-wide gains in ELA and math proficiency.

As a brand and digital systems strategist, she works with educators in transition, consultants, and impact-driven founders to build the brands, digital ecosystems, and business systems that make their expertise visible and their impact sustainable, bringing 5+ years of graphic design experience and 30+ brands served to every engagement.

A featured speaker at NDEO, IABD, and the Educators Moving On Conference, Tanjarae has also been featured in Bold Journey, Nashville Voyager, and Canvas Rebel.
